Today, we would like to provide an update regarding the ongoing revamp of the Community Battle and share our plans for the future.

Community Battle Relaunch Schedule

We previously announced that Community Battle would resume around January 2025, but we regret to inform you that the relaunch will be postponed as follows:

New Relaunch Target: Mid-May to Early June 2025

We sincerely apologize for this repeated delay.

Furthermore, to fully commit to the app development related to the Community Battle revamp and preparations for its relaunch, Community Wars will enter a long-term maintenance period starting February 9, 2025, and will remain under maintenance until the Community Battle is back.

Long-Term Maintenance Start Date: February 9, 2025 12:00 JST

We deeply apologize once again for not proceeding as originally planned and for causing further inconvenience to all our users.

Background of the Initial Postponement

Community Wars was developed with the concept of having existing communities compete against each other in a tower defense format, with the core of this concept being the Community Battle mode.

After our official release in August last year, we held the first Community Battle in September. However, a detailed analysis of the event’s results led us to conclude that the mode did not yet meet the quality standards that would satisfy our players, and that major improvements were necessary.

Consequently, we temporarily suspended the Community Battle mode. Instead, we have been holding “Reward Stages,” allowing every player—treated as though they were all in one single community—to have opportunities to earn rewards. This initiative has been active until now.

About the Second Postponement of the Community Battle

We aimed to resume Community Battle as soon as possible. However, the app development has taken more time than initially anticipated. We’ve determined that additional time is required to reach a level of quality that would satisfy everyone.

We sincerely apologize, but we have decided to postpone the relaunch of Community Battle to mid-May through early June 2025.

In addition, continuing operations of Normal Stages (including Reward Stages) has impacted the ongoing Community Battle revamp schedule.

Therefore, the 4th round of the Reward Stage will be our last. Afterward, to focus on finalizing the Community Battle revamp, Community Wars will enter a long-term maintenance period from February 9, 2025, until the Community Battle resumes.

We deeply apologize for the repeated postponements and for ending the Reward Stages, which may inconvenience those who have been playing so far. While the revamp will take some time, we will make sure to enhance the Community Battle so that it becomes even more exciting. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

As a first step, the new Community Battle will determine rankings by comparing the total number of medals collected by each community’s members.

This will allow you to see how many medals your community has earned, check on other members’ activities, and track the progress of missions that you complete together. We believe this will create a shared sense of working toward the same goal and let everyone enjoy the constantly shifting dynamics of the Community Battle.

We are continuing to add many other features in pursuit of making the game even more fun. We will share regular updates on our development progress.

Further details about the new Community Battle system will also be released in a new WhitePaper and other materials as we move forward.

Additionally, we have already confirmed the participation of several appealing communities that you can support and get excited about. We anticipate a grand debut upon release. Please look forward to upcoming announcements about which communities we’ll be collaborating with.

In preparation for the Community Battle’s return, we will continue to provide regular updates, run marketing campaigns, and create opportunities to communicate with our users. We aim to build excitement for the relaunch and ensure a smooth start.

4th Reward Stage: “Reward Stage Thanksgiving”

As previously announced, we will be holding the 4th Reward Stage from January 24 (Fri.) to January 30 (Thu.), 2025.

This event is titled “Reward Stage Thanksgiving”, as we wish to express our gratitude for your daily support and to apologize for the long-term maintenance. We plan to offer luxurious rewards and a special gacha with higher chances of obtaining high-rarity characters.

We hope that participating in this event will help you get a head start when the Community Battle resumes.

Event Details

Period: January 24, 2025 (Fri.) 16:00 JST – January 30, 2025 (Thu.) 12:00 JST

Stages and Rewards:

In “Normal Battle” mode, new “Beginner” and “Master” reward stages will be added.
Clearing each stage awards reward points.

Reward Points:

Beginner Stage: Earn reward points equivalent to 50 JPY per clear
Master Stage: Earn reward points equivalent to 300 JPY per clear

Each stage requires 100 Battle Points (BP) to attempt.

You may challenge the same stage repeatedly as long as you have BP.

Important Notes:

Reward points for each stage are subject to an upper limit.
If the upper limit is reached, the stage may end without prior notice.
The amount of reward points may be adjusted during the event. Thank you for your understanding.

Additional Event Information:

Gacha: Further details regarding gacha will be announced at a later date.
Login Bonuses: In conjunction with the Reward Stage, missions and login bonuses will be available that offer gacha tickets and reward points.

“Community Wars Strategy Community”:

A LINE Open Chat will be available for users to exchange strategy and gameplay information for Community Wars. This event will continue using the Open Chat that was introduced in the 3rd reward stage.

Please refer to the guidelines within the Open Chat for community rules.

In LINE Open Chat, you can set a profile name different from your regular LINE account and join under that alias.
